When you bring your items in, we will determine what we believe will sell. If we appear selective, please understand we have your best interest in mind. Our customer's preference is our selection guideline. All items received must be clean, odor free and are originals unless otherwise noted and is not a copy or reproduction. Any item that needs to be steamed or cleaned will be charged accordingly per item. All gowns need to be dry cleaned before accepting.
If any items are found to have defects, (stains, holes, missing buttons, zipper problems etc.) after first inspection your item will automatically be donated to charity without notice.
Items will be on consignment for 60 days. Touch of Class Consignment will determine all selling prices. All items are subject to sales and discounts and a specific consignor net is not espressed or implied otherwise. You will receive 40% of the list price less buyer's fees and or check fees. A check fee is only applied when mailing your check. A buyer's fee is a small handling fee applied to the list price that does not effect your earnings. It is the consignor's responsibility to update their contact information and accounts without a current address may forfeit proceeds.
You may pick up at the store monies due 60 - 210 Days (6 months) from the date of the contract. All monies owed between 6months to 1 year can only be used as store credit. After 1 year all monies are forteited.
You do not have to pick up unsold items. As a convenience to you, we will dispose of any unsold items. However, if you would like any unsold items back, you are welcome to pick them up during the last 10 days of your consignment period. 24 hours notice is required to process your items. Items must be retrieved before the consignment period ends. Items removed from the floor for pick up prior to the 50th day are subject to a $2 handling fee per item and may be deducted from your account. Any unsold items left after 60 days will be considered abandoned and become property of Touch of Class Consignments to be disposed of as we see fit. It is the consignor's responsibility to keep track of their consignment dates. You may check on your account anytime during business hours.
Touch of Class Consignment will not notify you of the status of your account.
We will do our best to safeguard your items, however items are left at the consignor's own risk. You, the consignor, quarantee to hold Touch of Class Consignment, it's affiliates, agents and employees harmless of any loss or damages by any and all perils, claims, actions, damages, liability or expenses (including our Attorney fees) related to the breach or claimed breach of any of obligation, responsibilities and warranties herein. You the consignor, certify ownership of all items with all rights to sell them or is acting with authority on behalf of the rightful owner.
